Issues with pinup popper and pixelcade

I have the bitpixel hv attached to my atgames pinball. I've installed everything from pixelcade and it works great while using pinball fx 3. However when I launch pinup popper and try to start a game the whole system freezes but if I go to task manager end the pinup popper task and restart the program it works fine after that. 
 
Any idea on why it would always freeze the system on first launch and if there's anything I can do to fix it? Thanks appreciate your time!
