punter1
Currently setting up LEDwiz with leds, strobes, gear motor and a knocker. I have LEDwiz, DOF and the LEDs working fine. Questions 1) Is it okay to define a toy twice (for example, assign knocker to port 17 and port 18) and physically wire one port (port 17) to the knocker and the other port (port 18) to the strobe? I would like free credit to trigger the knocker solenoid and strobe LEDs. 2) Now I still have to assign the strobe to a port, assuming I use port 19, is it okay to have both port 18 and port 19 to both be connected to the ground wire of the strobe LEDs. The desire is to have strobe events (port 19) and also have the strobe react to knocker events (port 18)
Content Provider arngrim Posted November 19, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted November 19, 2013 All the knocker solenoids are mapped to knocker AND strobe in the same time, so you don't need to play with the wires or the port assignments
punter1
Good to know - Thanks arngrim. I would still like to understand if it is okay to map multiple DOF events to a single toy. As I am considering connecting the gear motor output and shaker motor output to a single gear motor, since I don't have a shaker motor. This way I would at least get some feedback for the shaker motor events. Any thoughts?
Content Provider arngrim Posted November 19, 2013 Content Provider Share Posted November 19, 2013 Don't know if it can be a problem or not, try it. Another aspect is shakers are using lower intensities so don't know if mapping a gear to a shaker assignments would run great
