Cabinet Mode - Remove Unsightly Rails

Some tables do not have an obvious way to enable a cabinet mode to remove the unsightly side rails. The experienced designers implement a method in the script where you can modify a variable to a value of 1 and the side rails vanish, but many do not have that option.

 

Does anyone know of a way to dig into the table file to remove them? It's frustrating when a table looks great, except it has visible metal or colored rails on the sides.
