greatflash Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 (edited) Hi, I am really hoping someone can help here. I have a pin cab with Nvidia GTX 1060 that runs most tables fine, but I am finding some tables that bloom to excess and it's crazing me. I have checked everything i can think of. On my other laptop (also GTX - though 3060) it's perfect with the same Vpinball settings and the same version. How it should look and how it is on the cab. The Table is Viper Night Drivin' Though there are more tables with this issue to lesser extents. Edited August 31, 2023 by greatflash
greatflash Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 Just installed to another PC (AMD RDNA2) and it does the same on that... can't work out why the laptop is fine?
greatflash Posted September 1, 2023 Author Posted September 1, 2023 If i put reflections to "Just Ball" it's ok and fixes the massive bloom, but looks a lot worse of course, Anyone have any suggestions?
WaRcLaWz Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 I'm wondering if that would be solved by updating to the latest Nvidia graphics drivers.

I checked that and I am on the latest. discovered than 18.0.2 and up do it, 18.0.1 is fine. So, something in the beta releases with reflections?

greatflash Posted September 5, 2023 Author Posted September 5, 2023 I have done thanks. Well, I found a report of a milder case from 13 hours ago and added to that. https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/issues/748https://github.com/vpinball/vpinball/issues/748 Hopefully it's something that can be fixed as being stuck on 10.8.0.1 is a bit of a pain as there's odd issues when moving the camera to adjust view pos, and it often crashes when exiting after adjustment.
Dunard Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Pointing this out that I killed the blooming from the Black Knight 2000 1.3 by flupper1 while back. All I had to do is to put this onto the table script. BK2K.bloomstrength = 0 Table name on the builder. For example. Table1. Table1.bloomstrength = 0 Might help.
