I am trying to set the grill off on all backglasses, is this possible with a default setting for all tables?

I can't remember if there is a way to change default behavior, but for everything you've already opened. Open up the b2sfilesettings file in your tables folder with notepad. Search/find all <HiddenGrille>0</HiddenGrille> and do a find and replace action to <HiddenGrille>1</HiddenGrille>
