DMD not visible for cabinet

Hi, I have a problem with the dmd not being visible for the Game of Thrones table installed in my cabinet 3 monitor setup. the DMD starts up because when I alt tab it is visible with my playfield, backglass etc. I can left click with my mouse on the dmd but that does nothing. It is active but hidden somewhere. I have explored other postings on dmd issues to no avail. I have checked flexdmd is registered and working. all my other tables are good. The pup pack works. My dmd monitor is showing a black screen.  I have vpx 10.7.2.0.

could this be a script issue, or incorrect game cabinet setup. The game works fine on my pc single monitor. Looking for clues gentlemen , looking for clues........

I skimmed through it, and saw a few posts from people who had same DMD not showing problem.

Maybe you will find an answer to your problem there.

Hi Xenonph, I have seen those posts regarding my dmd issue, as I am relatively new to vpinball I am uncertain about changing things and getting in too deep without knowing how these changes relate to all my tables.. However there was one post regarding the  DmdDevice .ini file in my VpinMame folder. I am not sure what the settings should be in this file but I will do a screen shot of what I found to be conflicting information in my file. Just the top three ,what does  this  relate to regarding my flexdmd.... is this a global setting for all my table dmd's, if so why are the rest of my tables not affected....... much puzzlement. Should they say true and not false as showing, can you assist with the correct configuration settings please for the DmdDevice.ini file located in VPinMame.

For that top one, (virtualdmd) it should be set to True.

Ok, after some alt tabbing I discovered that the dmd was hiding under the playfield. I was able to maximise it to take up the entire playfield area. However I was unable to move it. tried right clicking mouse button to no avail. This is the only table on my system that uses flex dmd. tried to move the dmd by clicking on it and dragging it to the correct position....... no can do. SOOOOO how do I move it to my dmd monitor, or do I need to set up flex dmd  to appear in correct position. Does that require a script change somewhere..... I did a flexdmd test and was able to cycle through changes with my magnasave buttons all worked fine.... any further input would be appreciated please.

hi all, just to let you know, reinstalled flexdmd now all is right with the world game of thrones has a dmd,,,, soo pleased.

Hello, I have been having some problems with my FlexDmd as well. My flexDmd would not Show up on my Desktop when I try Playing Tables Like Game of Thrones & Sponge Bob.

My VirtualDMD enable Settings in DMD Device are set to True & I STILL can't get it to show on top of the Screen. These Tables work but I Cannot get the Flexdmd to show.

I Tried Everything. Can Anyone please Help me?

Hello, had similar issues with virtual DMD starting but not showing anything in the display on many tables after a new upgrade to a faster PC and processor.

It turned out my DMDext was out of date. I upgraded Freezys with the latest build and replaced my old DMDext with the new one and all virtual DMDs are working fine now and it allows the screen to be moved to the appropriate screen.
