Adding a 2nd addressable LedStrip controller

Recommended Posts

So I am trying to add a 2nd LED controller. I got everything set up and seems to be working. It flashes red green blue when you start the game but while playing the game, it never flashes. A link to my cabinet.xml file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gshG2JmorchrILshBnLt-Y2LJ7JZL8T5/view?usp=share_link   The lights on the 2nd controller are the front-facing speaker light. There are lights between the speakers and the backboard.

Has anyone set up a 2nd LED controller?

Ahhh, now that I understand the OPs question and what he's trying to achieve, I have modified my response.

See attached Cab file example for anyone who traipses across this post wondering the same thing.

Problem statement 'how to direct outputs to multiple serially connected (usb) controllers like a teensy, plus a wemos, plus a teensy plus a teensy plus a teensy, etc. etc.

(short answer, you specify the com target and access params for subsequent output controllers in the Cabinet file. They need to have a unique 'name' as this is how you attach Toys to them.)

(no idea why anyone would need so many, but I digress.) Maybe his cabinet is wrapped in LED's like Liberace's Piano. :D
