PS 4/5 controller to use as accelerometer for VPX?

This seems like it can be done I just don't know how.

 

I would like to mount in my cab  my PS 4/5 controller , to use as accelerometer for VPX using the Universal Control Remapper program.

Why should I have to buy a dedicated  accelerometer when the PS controllers have.

 

 

Any ideas or help would be awesome.
