Jimmyolsen Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I am not getting any sound from the flippers while playing some tables like America's Most Haunted and Cuphead Pro. Not sure if it's a setting that is changable in the script or a VPX setting. All other sound effects are good. Anyone else experience this issue or can point me in the right direction? Thanks.
fudgeycaca Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 It could be a variety of things. I can't say for certain given I haven't played either of those tables. Some tables use much weaker sound FX for their flippers that are barely audible. Some tables have very quiet SFX relative to their music. Some tables route all of their audio to one source instead of splitting it (as most tables do). Assuming your audio works perfectly fine on all other tables but it's just these two, start by loading each table in VPN and opening the Sound Manager. Scroll through the sounds to find the flipper SFX and try testing them (click play). If you hear it and it's a weak flipper sound, you could always change the SFX to a different sound. Either that or increase the volume or reroute it to another source.
