Advice req on adding music + high score sticky notes to EM tables

Hi all

 

Looking to try and educate myself on vpx scripts. I enjoy a lot of the older EM tables and can see that there are several that have had music mods and high score notes added. Are there any guides out there for me to try and learn about this? Are the amendments easy to learn or is there a significant amount of prior scripting knowledge required? Any guidance would be much appreciated! Thanks
