First of all which PIN2DMD hardware do you have ?  https://pin2dmd.com/hardware/

Does anything show up in the windows device manager when you connect the pin2dmd ?

What does show up ?

What do you mean with stm32 ? The ST-Link utility ?

To make a dump you need the pin2dmd.exe tool from my github https://github.com/lucky01/PIN2DMD/tree/master/tools

hi
I have a nucélo f429ZI

Do you connect to the USB next to the network port on the Nucleo ?

Did you try a different cable or a different USB port on your PC ?

No need to connect the other USB socket on the Nucleo. It is only used for programming.

Did you change the USB port on the PC ? Did you try a different PC ?

Could you make a screenshot of the Windows "Device Manager" ?

Does the device manager refresh when you disconnect and connect the pin2dmd ?

Strange thing is that I have a group called USB-Controller which you also have named "Controleurs de bus USB" but additionally I have

a group called "USB-Devices" with the same USB plug symbol which is missing in your list.  Did you install the USB drivers for your motherboard from the manufacturer ?

that's it, I managed to install the zadig driver
now i can change the light intensity of the display
to do a dump, I connect the display to the flipper, launch color prism2dmd, select bally/williams, select create dump file and choose the folder
after a few seconds, I have a first message:

then a few seconds later I have a second message

I tried on my no good gofers and on my creature from the black lagoon and it's the same thing
do you have any idea what i am doing wrong

thank you

that's it, it works I installed the 32-bit version, but this one worked less well than the 64-bit version
suddenly, I put the 64 bits back and despite a few stops, I manage to make dumps
I start or at least try to colorize my pinball machines and will put the results on the site
thank you for your help... willy
