KL25z Alternative ??

Hi guys, i couldnt get a KL25z when building my cab so I bought a Xtrinsic sensors EVK evaluation kit from Element 14.  This is a KL25z with a daughter board attached.  The daughter board can be removed.

 

It wasnt recognised by windows 10, so i used an old win 7 laptop to update the bootloader following the Pinscape guide and now the board is recognised by win 10 but the pinscape software cant see it. 

 

Has anyone managed to get one of these working?  The board is clearly marked as KL25Z and visually the boards look almost identical
