Shandogg Posted December 8, 2022 Share Posted December 8, 2022 I was following the setup to colorize and i goofed something up. I was messing with the Dmddevice.ini at the time and my DMD disappeared. This is on a cabinet setup with 3 screens. I have tried putting the old .ini back in and i still don't have a DMD at all. So I have been messing around in the pinmame setup and if i test a ROM in the Setup64.exe everything is fine and a DMD shows up on my screen. If i test a ROM using the regular setup.exe i either get it to crash out OR the music plays but there is no DMD. So I think I have nailed it down to this being the problem but I can't get any progress. I have uninstalled and reinstalled VPINMAME a couple times and I think I'm just making things worse. Another note is that i was working on a certain colored ROM at the time. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I dropped all the files from the dmd-extensions_with_p2color_plugin over the top of both folders and it fixed my issue. I guess i didnt have the plugin. Desktop . installed update from 170.1 to 107.2 Playing pinball : FlexDMD works...Ultra DMD dont work on the test : none screen appears on ( RUN ) Flex or Ultra..nothing appears, All is registered. Thanks for your help. -------------------------------------------------- UPDATE I Reinstalled ultraDMD..... nothing..... FlexDMD works while playing.... dont work on DEMO in set-up ultraDMD Dont work at all... I hope you got an idea for me. Thanks. Sur le test,,aucun ne fonctionne ( Etrange) J'ai reisntalle UltraDMD, reinstalle FlexDMD, Aucun changement...... j'ai besoin d'aide. Merci. The fix for this is to go inside your VPinMAME folder and open your DmdDevice.ini file with notepad, and look for this... ; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor [virtualdmd] enabled = true Make sure this is set to true.
