charlespinball Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I have gone through the check list several times i have made sure that my ini file says COLORIZE, I have checked VPmame for Color, I have updated my dlls , I have alt color folders in Vpmame and visual pinball and VP MAME. What I can do is ... 1. I can see the preview Videos for popper in color 2. I can also post a Color PNG to dmdext successfully However color roms are not working. Any tips on anything I could retrace to see what I could be doing wrong.
charlespinball Posted November 4, 2022 Author Posted November 4, 2022 Answered my own question what some are leaving out is that after you go inti PinMame setup and select Color for the Color roms for PIN2DMD it's not enough you also have to make sure that you SELECT TEST then in TEST there is a button for GAME OPTIONS hit GAME OPTIONS which you have to click on every single rom you have a color profile for in the AltColor folder once you select Color again specifically for each rom I got it to worked. Spent way too many hours researching this so I hope this helps someone
