H3RBSKI Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Got a weird issue with VPX, fresh install on cab tonight. When trying to load a table it shows the loading bar and when it reaches the end vpx force closes to desk top and never actually loads the table. Any ideas where to look to fix it? (latest version of VPX installed)
Thalamus Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Hmm. Not really no. There should be a crash.txt that devs can analyze. I guess, if you're computer isn't very strong - it could be related to too large table images. You don't really mention if this happend for ALL games, or ... I would double check that I've upgraded all components, first and foremost. Latest is 10.7.2 !
H3RBSKI Posted October 28, 2022 Author Posted October 28, 2022 yeah upgraded to 10.72 but happens on all versions of vpx that ive tried, pc is ryzen 5 5600x and rtx 3070 16gig ram. i re installed baller and made sure tables were working today and it all ran fine. Upgraded and it ran fine also. got my backed up tables/roms from my external HDD and copied them over as soon as ive done this VPX starts crashing again. its only tables and b2s files im copying over. no dll's etc and nothing is blocked. not sure why its crashing out when the tables are copied over. If i copy a table 1 by 1 it works if i bulk copy and then test it all tables stop loading again even ones that previously worked. doesnt make any sense

BGood Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 I have the same problem. I reloaded VPX 10.72 and problem still there. The only tables that work were loaded with VPX 10.7 eg. (JP's IT).
