Noob unable to activate key Pin2DMD

good evening guys, and sorry for my bad English. I made the donation and received the .key file for pin2dmd activation, but once I open pin2dmd.exe and then on Device-->Activate, I get an error message telling me to check my usb connection. The connection works, as I have already installed pin2dmd on the Core 144 STM32F429zi.What can be the problem ? Thank you

If you installed the firmware with the same connection you use the wrong USB connector. Try the other one.

The Nucleo has two USB connectors.

One is for firmware upgrade (ST-Link) and the other for user application like pin2dmd.

Use the one next to the ethernet connector.
