Chuckyball
Hi all again, Firstly, continued thanks to the developers and the admin. Just wondering if anyone has ever created a training table to practice flipper ball control and shots. I searched the word *training* but could not find anything relevant. I realise that normal game play will also improve your skills, but if there was something that could give you say 50 left post passes, 50 right, 50 descending left balls to drop or live catch etc together with a ramp to target would be nice to improve your skills Would anyone know if something like this is already out there somewhere? (visions of star trek holodeck...) Happy if some just tells me to bugger off and just play more 😉 Thanks and regards Chucky
diablode
I've hunted for the same but never found anything. It would be a great idea.
Content Provider xenonph Posted August 30, 2022 Content Provider Share Posted August 30, 2022 The only problem I can forsee, is that no 2 tables physics are alike. So what may work on a practice table, may not work on recreated table, no matter how hard you have practiced. But learning how to do all the different flipper tricks would make for a great learning table, even if it is just for the basic info on how to achieve each flipper trick. csdf27
Someone on reddit posted a quick way to add a tele porter to a table that would take the ball from the drain and put it back into play wherever you like. You could do that to quickly make a trainer on any existing table
makmak
Simply put walls on top of the outlanes and a big post between the flippers-done-nor more drains. Makes as much sense as a "teleporter". Any virtual pinball table IS a training table as you dont have to put coins in 😉
