Tikimaster Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 There is a nice Documentary about Pinball - Special when Lit! "What made more money than the entire American movie industry through the 50s and 60s? Pinball. Special When Lit rediscovers the lure of a lost pop icon. A product of the mechanical and electrical age, the American invention swept the world and defined cool. Now it is relegated to a nostalgic footnote deserving a better fate. Joining the fans, collectors, designers and champion players from across the globe who share a world many of us didn't know still existed."https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1511532/plotsummary?ref_=tt_ov_pl If you like Pinball, you´ll have fun with it..
SixOfTwelve Posted June 13, 2022 Posted June 13, 2022 It really is a great documentary. However, I made the mistake of reading Pinball: A Graphic History of the Silver Ball by Jon Chad just one day after I watched this. While Chad's book is very cool in its own unique way, it's quite obvious that he was, shall we say, "heavily influenced" by Special When Lit for his entire historical section. 😀
