I have a PIN2DMD-XL Evolution board that is only booting if I hit the reset button... single press is enough but without it, no picture. Frankensteinowner Posted October 28, 2022 Share Posted October 28, 2022 I had the same problem with mine (same model of Pin2DMD) - initially, I dropped two wires off the card and shorted them out at the start of play - ended up hooking the reset of the DMD onto the rest of the driver card via a zener and a resistor (the driver card runs at 5V, the DMD at 3v3). regarding the above post, you've got to be pretty hot at soldering to change the CPU. I did try changing the capacitors in the reset circuit etc but, to no avail. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
