Problems after installing 10.7

I finally updated to VPX 10.7 the other day so now I can play all the newest offerings . Worked fine except for two small problems.

 

I normally  open games directly from my tables folder and am able to close by either hitting "Q" twice or using the quit button under my cabinet. Now when I do either the game doesn't quit and the small window that used to appear if I only hit Q once appears on the play field that says "Quit game"  "edit" and "resume". Any idea how to fix that ?

 

also when I quit a game the screen with the options and the game layout no longer appears

 

Been told that others are having the same issues..... most important is that I can't get to the options and script for games so unable to edit sound manager etc. 

 

Any solutions would be appreciated.
