VP Sound and Ball on playfield

I am very new to the world of VP and only recently purchased a machine. 

 

I have been able to upload a couple of tables and even installed a Jukebox which surprised me. 

 

I have noticed on a couple of tables that  the sound seems to decrease as I play it and I have to turn it up manually in the middle of the game. Not sure if that's my machine or its something else. 

 

Also there seems to be a big difference with some of the games in regards to the clarity of the ball on the playfield. Is there a way to improve the ones that look sort of washed out or is this just my machines processing power or the way the game was coded (if that's the term).
