Runeword
Hello all. I'm trying figure out how to do 2 different resolution setups on my machine. I'd like to have one dedicated to 1080p and one for 4k that i can switch back and forth. I've tried installing 1080p to its own hard drive seperate from the 4k install but when i switch back and forth they seem to affect eachother's install i'm guessing from windows registry stuff. If anyone can offer a solution I would be greatly appreciative.
Content Provider gtxjoe Posted March 30, 2022 Content Provider Share Posted March 30, 2022 By default, VPX only supports one install on a PC. Multiple installs won’t work. However you could download the VPX source code and modify the code to store the registry settings in a new registry folder. That would allow you to use two VPXexe with different settings like you want to do, one for 1080p and one for 4k
