DMD Images Not Updating in Attract Mode

I have two playlists, MAME and Visual Pinball X. In my POPMedia default directory I have a "pl_" backglass, DMD, and playfield image/video for each playlist.  When I first fire up Popper, the correct DMD image is displayed for the current Playlist in attract mode.  However, once it switches, only the backglass and playfield images change.  The DMD will forever continue to display the FIRST image it loaded.  If I wake it up from attract mode and manually navigate the playlists, the DMD images will update correctly.  I've attached some images
