Pinup popper not playing some videos in the playfield

Hello, I recently installed Pinup player and pinup popper and I'm starting to set up my games with media on single screen desktop right now.

 

For some reason, certain video files won't play and remain static in the playfield when I launch and test pinup popper.

 

I'm using media from the built in web search function and they are all mp4 files.

 

When I view them separately outside in VLC player, they play perfectly fine, but when loaded into media manager and played in pinup popper, they become static, or sometimes randomly play a quick second before stopping.

 

I'm confused since it plays certain videos perfectly fine, but some won't play at all.

Edit: I converted the file to a lower resolution using the included media option and it seemed to have worked.
