64 colors help

Hi everyone

 

I just got my pin2dmd up and running am able to use normal colorizations but for some reason my 64 color version have weird colors and glitches on some scenes.

 

I'm using the updated dmdext so I'm not sure where to start.

Some Roms allow to change the language/country with F6. If you do so, the Color DMD shows wired things
Check the name of your directory in altcolors, should be the exaxt same as the name of the rom you use.
Inside this directory should be two files.
pin2dmd.pal
Pin2dmd.vni
 

If you are using a already patched color rom, you may have a pin2dmd.pal only. You will not see the colors with VpinMame, you should have DMDext installed.

The issue was using the 64bit version of the freezy ext through trial and error I tried the 32bit version and it works perfectly now. Hopefully this helps someone else down the road.
