LostControl85 Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 So having an issue after installing a dual panel setup with an old v1.4 pin2dmd board. There's a gap in the middle of the display. Anyone ever see this before? I'm thinking maybe a scaling issue 1/32 vs 1/16? Much thanks!
Content Provider lucky1 Posted January 23, 2022 Content Provider Posted January 23, 2022 I think you use 64 x 64 pixel panels. pin2dmd needs two 32 x 64 pixel panels. See https://pin2dmd.com/hardware/ If you controller is not activated you also need a new controller because activation period for that hardware has ended more than a year ago.
LostControl85 Posted January 23, 2022 Author Posted January 23, 2022 Thanks Lucky1. I followed the link you included & it states to use 64x64 RGB LED panels so I'm slightly confused. My controller was activated but never configured so fingers crossed. But I can purchase 32x64 panels & try that.

No it states to search for P2.5 64x64 because there are 1/16 scan panel with 64x64 which constisted of two 32x64 panels. It also states that you need to make sure that you get 1/16 scan panels and you have 1/32 scan panels. That is why you have that gap.
LostControl85 Posted January 23, 2022 Author Posted January 23, 2022 Thanks again! Ordering new panels!
