DOF not working

All my DOF controlled Buttons remain dark in Popper although I have enabled DOF in the config. I dug a little deeper and played around with popper doctor. It can start DOF only in direct mode, not in Popper Mode. Here is the error I get:

It translates into „invalid class string …“

 

There are only solutions for this from 2017 and windows 7 that assume you want to run anything as an admin. I don’t run anything as an admin and the DOF com object registers successfully. I also have a clean an up to date windows that has not other software installed than the VPIN stuff.
