mbr
Hello Forum I'm stuck. I bought a PIN2DMD Dot Matrix 128 x 32 Display Evo in September 21 and successfully installed Firmware V4.26 (or 4.24 not sure). Successfully activated it with .key file and stored Colorization Files onto SD card and tested on real Pinball. Everything worked fine. Now 2 days ago I wanted to install the display in another real pinball I tried to update to V4.30 using SD card (.upd file) that did not succeed. So I went back to using DfuSE Utility via microUSB using DFU mode. That worked fine. I now see the V4.30 version on screen, BUT the device is not activated anymore! Then tried: - .key file on SD card > no success - pin2dmd.exe via device > Activate. with .key file > error message could not activate (on Win64 and MacOS) Do know what to do next?? I suspect the 3 SD cards I was using could not be read by the device. (2x 64GB; 1x 128GB) formatted with NTFS and exFat. (One 64GB card with exFat is brand new) Is there a max SD card size and what is the format I should use? Thank you in advance Matthias

Probably a problem with your SD card. Try another one. The SD library supports FAT16, FAT32, and exFAT file systems on Standard SD, SDHC, and SDXC cards. mbr
Finally fixed it with an old 16GB SD card formatted to FAT16. My other SDXC 64GB and 128GB SD cards formatted with exFAT weren't readable by the device. Thanks Matthias
