help with colorising metallica rom?

hey guys, ive been trying to colorise the metallica LE rom. ive downloaded the latest 1.80 from the stern site and tried using the download from the link below to patch it, Everytime i zip up the file and test it with vpinmame (using latest sambuild x86) i get an error saying the rom set is not found. As far as i can see everything is named as it should be and placed in the right places but i just cant get it to work for the life of me. Any ideas?
