mrbrightside80 Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 I'm having issues getting my undercab lighting to work. I am testing a single addressable strip and it will only turn on during play and it is one color and won't turn off. I am using the Oak Micros PAL board and have 2 playfield (same strip type) working fine. I have checked my cabinet file a ton of times and also tried different ports on the board. Was hoping someone could help. I've attached a text version of my Cabinet.xml as well. Cabinet.txt
outhere Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Did you check on the DOF website if they're supposed to be multiple colors and go on and off
mrbrightside80 Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 I have. The only color is shows is white, but I can see it trying to do something else. The lights won't even turn off if I exit the table, popper or even turn off the computer.

My first strip must have blown because it combined the side strip and undercab into 1. Now this 2nd strip will light up not not properly. Did you have a chance to look at my cabinet file?
outhere Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 As Far as I can tell the cabinet file looks OK Did you try running it without any reference to the Sainsmart board in the cabinet file If you only have one Sainsmart board you don't need a cabinet file for it just for the Addressable strips

I also tried a completely new strip and it does the same thing. It's either the board or something file related. I use the PAL board from Oak Micros and my 2 playfield strips work great.
