Tips On Capture Backglass/DMD Via VR

Hello. Here are some tips on how to get the backglass and DMD working better without issues with focus, for example if your use you VR tables in their own directory they won't use the backglass settings and you use an external DMD.dll in a position on your screen that you want to keep for none VR.

 

1. Copy your BS2 files from your tables folder to your VR tables folder

2. Run BS2_setup in your VR folder and set the size that doesn't overlap your external DMD

 

As you can see from the screenshots BG and DMD look correct on the on the desktop and in VR and my DMD which I use outside of VR stays in place but gets captured in VR. If you use all your tables in the same fold this doesn't apply to you but if you like VR tables in their own folder and have a setup like mine with the DMD and blackglass then you can use this method.
