Activation Failed ...

Hi,

I have an issue activating my pin2dmd licence. I have read carefully the tutorial homepage at pin2dmd.com

Following steps :

Installed most recent firmware

Connected a proper power supply

connected to USB

started pin2dmd.exe and activated via key

I tried win32 and win64. win version give Activation failed, win32 gives me nothing. The device is recognized as it should. I check the UID Number for the Key ten times.

Help is much appreciated,

Put the .key file inside sdcard and check if work.

Could be a USB communication issue. Does the device react to any USB commands. What happens if you press load config in the 64 bit version

The Device -> Load Config gives me a blank info. No FW, no UID, device not activated.

 DMD shows Version Colorprism v4.07

Pin2DMD Tool 4.02 , 64 bit

no USB commincation -> check your USB connection. Different cable ? Is it recognized as PIN2DMD in device manager ?

Thanks for the hint. I found my fault.

First, I used CN1 as USB port. This will be recognized as SL Link debug in the device manager. So I took a closer look and recognized CN13 as USER USB, whis Micro AB socket. My eyes getting weak :(. Second I used Micro B cable that both had play. After I managed to fit them tight I was able to load the config with info and to activate the key.
