andybroomstick Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 Installed (baywatch) have background pixel noise on display, I have wrong colours in attract mode, sonic is green instead of blue, I'm connected with 4pin molex to 18v connector, I have shortened ribbon cables as well and I'm running latest firmware, would or should it be powered from a ext switching power source like the Meanwell LRS35-5, if so how do you connect to display and machine. I read on pinside that pixel noise on screen can be caused by power, just worried about damaging things. Any guidance would be much appreciated thanks Andy Sent from my CMR-W09 using Tapatalk
Content Provider lucky1 Posted December 7, 2020 Content Provider Posted December 7, 2020 Seems lik you have the same problems like here https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pin2dmd-xl-issue-in-baywatch#post-5979432 Please check your resistor R32 and your RGB sequence. Should have no pixel noise and the right colors in the end no matter which power source you use.
