pin2dmd Color DMD with FX3?

I have freezy set up and working perfectly with FX3 right now, but I was wondering if it's possible to use the altcolor option like what's possible with pinmame?   For example is it possible to use the pin2dmd colorization for Creature from the black lagoon or ToTAN with FX3 and freezy?
