MikeFlipOut
I'm doing a bit of hacking around on my Cactus Canyon Continued machine and wanted to try generating some DMD frames. I downloaded the linux version for my home PC but could only get to the splash screen... are there any prerequisites to making it work? I have Java 11 installed since I noticed the bash script checks for it. mike.
Content Provider lucky1 Posted October 21, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted October 21, 2019 Since CCC is proc based, this might be interesting for you https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/totan-software-rewrite-on-p-roc-twilight-melody/ You need to install libusb and PyUSB as a python wrapper for it. I´m sure the author of this pinside thread will give you the necessary code changes.
MikeFlipOut
Yes, I have seen that project and it's very impressive. I have a working CCC system but I'm looking to add some additional DMD frames. I was hoping to have Pin2DMD working at home on my Linux PC but I may be able to use a Windows machine at work to run it at some point. cheers, Mike. Content Provider lucky1 Posted October 22, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted October 22, 2019 You should first get your P-ROC system running. From what I understand it should work on Linux and on windows.
