Response Time for TV

Hey all,

i started to build a Coffe Table Vpin and now looking for a TV. I´v checked a few TV´s and  decided for a Samsung  NU7199.  Now i have read, that this TV has a response time from 22,8 ms (Gaming Mode on). Is This i good value for a Vpin?

From way back when and today getting back into vpins. You'll want the lowest response, which generally you get from a monitor, as tv's can be near the 20ms. Monitors are usually 5-8ms and the new 120-144hz monitors can be lower.  The tv listed, if that has a reponse of 22.8ms I would say no, it would not be good for a vpin, however it will work, you just may see lag or the image "tear".
