Content Provider MydknyteStyrm Posted July 12, 2019 Content Provider Share Posted July 12, 2019 I have 8 contactors and a Gottlieb knocker that I will be powering from a dedicated 24v supply. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to wire a hub of 24v to disperse each positive to each contactor. Can I daisy chain the power to each one from a single line or would this be frowned upon considering the diodes? If I have to connect each contactor separately, what would you recommend to divide the 24v line into multiple connections? For my 12v I can split them using a auto 12v multi port. Thanks for any help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Krodak
Yes you can daisy chain the positive. That's how I have mine wired. Each set of three solenoids has a common positive. Negative side run to the drive board with a fuse.
