outhere
There is a lot of information out there about doing this and it's almost evolving every day I believe the d.diff files are only used for Stern pinball games For other games - attack from mars Installation instructions PIN2DMD or Virtual DMD owners: Create a vpinmame/altcolor/<rom name> directory and copy the pin2dmd.pal and pin2dmd.vni files there. Enable ‘Colorize DMD (4 colors)’ in the rom setup of vpinmame for each colorized ROM you will be using Enable ‘Use external DMD (dll)’ in the rom setup of vpinmame for each colorized ROM you will be using Additional steps for Virtual DMD owners : Download latest dmdext version (current 1.6.0) via https://github.com/freezy/dmd-extensions/releases Copy ‘DmdDevice.dll’ and ‘DmdDevice.ini’ to your vpinmame directory. NOTE: If you are a Virtual DMD owner you should not install dmdext… just move the two files described here.
