How to edit palette color files?

Can anyone tell me how to edit the palette files (.pal) used to color the virtual DMD via freezy's dll? The ones in the altcolor folder. I did a quick search but didn’t see any clear info.
Would like to change the colors on some of them. Star Wars DE for instance. I had a nice blue/white/yellow scheme going before with the pinmame method and I'd like to recreate that.

Thanks!

I think you can use a program named pin2dmd.exe.  I have never done it and just wondering myself.  Hopefully someone will chime in with more info.

I just tried and yes you can mod/create palette files with pin2dmd.exe.

Thanks I downloaded that before I posted the question but couldn't see how to just edit a palette file. It appears to be more for animations.

I couldn't even figure out how to import a .pal file.

I've since discovered if you delete the altcolor folder that belongs to a table then the virtual dmd will read your pinmame color settings.
