HELP "no dmd device driver found"

OK. I'm a my wits end!

I've been reading and reading and reading and still have not get my set to work. 

So I got a Pin2DMD  (I think they are the latest drivers) and the latest PinMame (Dec 2016). When I install PinMame and try to test a rom (rocky and bullwinkle) I get "no dmd device driver found". 

Can some point me to the page or tell me the answer. I believe I've tried all the different things I have read about over the last couple of weeks but cant seem to get it to work. 

Any advice is appreciated.

Copy the files from dmd2 directory down one directory to the main directory -- or whichever version of dmd you have.
