I have a Philips 4000 series Pixel Plus Full HD 42" tv (excellent picture i think)

 

Does anybody know if it is possible to de-case it for use in a cab?

I have decased it now, it was not hard to do, but the backplastic has to stay on, because the circuitboards use it for mountings. So i need to cut the plastic on two sides.

So no way of reverting back when done.

 

The Samsung i decased has the boards screwed directly to the metal frame of the panel.
