In the past you may have noticed that the site was experiencing slowdown and timeouts. We have upgraded the server and moved to a more reliable host. We have been asked that we will need to enable some restrictions so we can maintain a basic visiting experience. After testing, we have determined that our basic site settings will allow for all members to maintain a reasonable VPU experience. Some of our members that have faster internet service consider making a donation to VPU to enable enhanced features such as faster downloads, less wait time and more simultaneous downloads. These donations are necessary to help us keep the site up and running at the speeds and reliability that we deserve. At this time we have turned on our basic member settings. This setting restricts download speeds as well as the number of simultaneous files a user can download at one time. For most users these basic settings should be ample and will help us maintain a reasonable service limit and allow for un-interrupted service for the site. If you want a faster experience please consider making a donation to the site. If you have made a donation in the past; your account has been set to the correct level + 1 level above. There are some members that I wasn't able to figure out the username via their donation email. If you have made a donation in the past to VPU and are still showing as a basic MEMBER please send me a PM with the email you used to donate with. ** Please note - the below settings are what we are starting with. If we determine that a tier needs to be changed we will make necessary changes. If the changes warrant it then users may be moved to a different group. Members will always be moved up a tier and never down. I guess in order to use this site I must make a donation?It takes 10 minutes to download VPM now. It's the worst thing to happen to me since Subway killed the wedge cut.
