Rushfan1974 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 When I try to play any table in VP10 ( with one exception TRON ) I get this error, Any thoughts on what it is. Im running windows xp 64 bit and have no trouble with any other version of VP10. All drivers and windows are up to date. I attached a picture of the Script error.
Administrators Dazz Posted January 10, 2016 Administrators Posted January 10, 2016 Did you download the updated VBS scripts?
outhere Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Did you Downloaded VP10 and unzipped it and copied the 8 files into the visual pinball folder and than put the script (50 + VBS) files into the scripts or tables folder depending on which one you use?
Rushfan1974 Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Yes I installed the scripts in both spots to make sure I had them in the right spots. I tried to just leave them in on or the other amd get the same results. Also when I did this it messed up all of other tables by giving me a line 1 mblink error when I tried to launch any table. So. Now I'm starting the Vp10 install over. I just copied my working backup over to my folder again, so next I download Vp10, unzip then move over all the files, next the new scripts where should I put them?

Rushfan1974 Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Ok, I'll check that out and report back in the morning. I might have that in 2 places so maybe that's it.
Rushfan1974 Posted January 10, 2016 Author Posted January 10, 2016 Reporting back and I have the same errors. So for grins I installed VP 10 on my main gaming rig, Windows 7 64 bit, 2600K, 2 980 gtxs in slo, 32 gigs of ram and everything plays fine. No errors, super fast. So I have some issues with xp64. Maybe upgrade the hardware and reinstall everything, sigh.
Rushfan1974 Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 Well after all day of working I managed to get a complete working setup of vp10 and 9 on my gaming rig, unfortunately the cabinet still has the same issues even though it's a identical setup. Only difference is cabinet is xp64 and the working one is windows 7 64 bit. Can I just simply drag and drop my working folder over to a fresh install of windows with my other folders ( ledwiz, dof, ipac , pinball x ) and it will work?
Content Provider sliderpoint Posted January 11, 2016 Content Provider Posted January 11, 2016 Pretty much. Did you make sure all your files are unblocked? -Mike
Rushfan1974 Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Ya I did, im.just going to upgrade my cabinet. Windows 7, more ram and I'm going to one video card ( 970 gtx ) from 2 450 gts cards.
RustyCardores Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Did you set the VPX exe to Run as Administrator and leave compatibility mode unchecked?
Rushfan1974 Posted January 14, 2016 Author Posted January 14, 2016 Rusty my cab is running xp 64bit. Everything works fine except vp10, I might just swap in the video card and install the drivers to see if it's a issue with my lowly video cards in there now
