bpjacobsen Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I have the script that creates the table videos but it only works for tables prior to the vpx extension. You can't open vpx tables with the older versions. Can't figure out how to update the capscreens script to create the videos for VP10. There are very few table and/or BG videos out there for the select few VP10 tables that have been shared.
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted April 23, 2015 Content Provider Posted April 23, 2015 The latest version should work with VP10. It is agnostic about whether the file name has a vpt or vpx extension. http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/15207-capture-videos-to-pinballx-media-table-backglass-and-dmd/page-3#entry139563
Content Provider gtxjoe Posted April 23, 2015 Content Provider Posted April 23, 2015 If you don't get working solution, you can try renaming the .vpx to .vpt for your video recording purposes.
bpjacobsen Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 will try the new one but FYI, if I rename the vpx to vpt, it won't run/load the tables. are you able to get them to run in 9.9 when renaming to vpt? Have not tried creating video but I'm assuming it will not load it since I can't load it from the editor
bpjacobsen Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 is there a problem with the spesoft site? it says it's not available
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted April 24, 2015 Content Provider Posted April 24, 2015 The site works for me.
bpjacobsen Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 working now. However, I think I have that script. In the beginning, it says ; For system use the ini header where you have defined your other Visual Pinball setups system2 = System_9 ;PhysMod2 system3 = System_4 ;PhysMod5 What does this mean? I have 9.1, phys mod 5, 9.9, and VPX setup in pinballx. How do I get this script to make videos for the vpx tables?
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted April 24, 2015 Content Provider Posted April 24, 2015 Post your ini file.
