Content Provider gtxjoe Posted December 20, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 20, 2014 Here is a modified version of the zero slope nudge test table. PM5_Nudge test table.zip The point of this is to show that nudging really requires the ball to contact an object or wall for it to have any real effect on the ball. If you time it right, you should be able to dribble the ball like a basketball. Nudge when the ball is not close to a wall, it just jittersPM5_Nudge test table.zip Works for both analog nudge and digital button nudge. The VP nudge buttons are set pretty strong or maybe I set up my analog nudge too weak
Content Provider CarnyPriest Posted December 20, 2014 Content Provider Posted December 20, 2014 My opinion the VP default nudge is too strong. Or else I'm too weak! I don't get the same action when I try to nudge a real table. Thanks for the test table. Time to go recalibrate my settings.
paulohotline Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Cool, thank you. This table really illustrates well how nudging works in PM5. I will test it out in real game situations to see how my button nudging improves. EDIT: I guess that explains visually why when a ball is draining straight down the middle (SDTM), nudging in PM5 does nothing for you!
