aklaers Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 So i downloaded a bunch of Phys Mod tables this week and was setting them up I got all of them to work right away except for Attack From Mars. I get really late flipper movement or slow movement and when I press the launch button when starting it I do Not even get a ball to launch. any advice?
Shadowsclassic Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Sounds like what happens when you are using the wrong version of VP. The AFM I have is Physics Mod 5, but there are some versions out there that run under Pmod3 and I think even Pmod2. I would verify what version you are running and see if that solves it.
Content Provider Rascal Posted November 24, 2014 Content Provider Posted November 24, 2014 I don't even see a physmod AFM uploaded here or at VPF. Are you sure you aren't playing a regular table with the phymod5 exe? The flippers would be really slow and weak and so would the plunger I think. Show the link where you downloaded it.

There used to be a PM2 and PH5 links and both play fine here without the flipper problems.
Administrators Dazz Posted November 24, 2014 Administrators Posted November 24, 2014 I'm sure that the link to this table was in the closed/locked threads on VPF
B2K24 Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 The only similar problem I've ever experienced was with Terminator 2 - Chrome Edition table from Tipoto version 1.07 After I realized something was messed I re-downloaded and overwrote what I previously had and everything was fine again.
MrManiac Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 The link to AFM on Dazz's database from the thread "List of Vp Physmod Tables" is working once again, thanks CK.
Loafmeister Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Guys, isn't there an issue with some db2s that causes this stuck flipper issue? I can't remember what the entire solution was though, brain cramp.
Shadowsclassic Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I have both the pmod and regular versions running with db2s with no problems. I don't thing it was any issue with db2s, at least I don't remember doing any fix. Rascal is right, if you run a regular table under pmod5 it behaves exactly the way the OP describes.
