Downloading is just a wee bit broken.

This is for the site developers....

 

I recently joined up for a gold membership, and so far it's been great.  But there is ONE LITTLE THING about how downloads work now that I'd like to mention.

 

When you click the "Download this file" button, you get the overlay window at the top with the list of whatever individual files are available, and you then have to click the individual "Download" buttons to initiate the transfer.

 

There might be 1 file but sometimes there are 3 or 4.  The thing that is a wee bit broken is that when you click the first DOWNLOAD button, the overlay goes away before you can click any of the other ones, so you have to go through a loop to do them one at a time.

 

It's arguably a bit comical, and certainly not a major problem, but it's a bit ironic that you mostly don't experience it when you're on the lower membership tiers that have a delay,  since you can click multiple files while you're waiting for the first one to start.  

 

I can think of several thins you might do to fix this, but I expect that you can come up with a good solution once you're aware of the problem.

Unfortunately, that's just how this current system works. The new system I'm working on now it much much much better.
