connorsdad
When I use DOF Config Tool and fill in my port assignments a directoutputconfig.ini is generated which if I understand correctly applies to all tables. When I click on the table configs tab and select a table I can generate another config for that table, the file generated is again directoutputconfig.ini, how does DOF know that config is specific to that table if the names are the same? I read somewhere to change the name of the ini to that of the table but then I was told not to change the name from directoutputconfig.ini. I'm confused. connorsdad
If I only need one ini file, why are have the choice of table configs ?
Content Provider arngrim Posted July 30, 2014 Content Provider Share Posted July 30, 2014 take it from the screen that you want, some take it when thry change their controller mappings, others when they change a table config....
connorsdad
I still don't understand. What is the difference between the directoutputconfig.ini created by the port assignment page and the directoutputconfig.ini created by the table config page. If the answer is nothing then why have two ways of doing it ? Why have the option to pick a table if it makes no difference to the ini you already have?
