joewhisler Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Back in July, I got a cabinet from ABVideoArcades (the ABVIDEOARCADES 120hz Virtual Pinball New Pinup Popper system 1330 pinball games with 1000 jukebox Songs) ... It's a beast, but I do love it. Not sure if anyone here has this cabinet, or a similar cabinet hosting Pinup Popper system 1330 pinball games. The HD is locked down, and I won't be messing with that for a while. So, I have created a HTML database for all the tables. No doubt, I'm sure this has been done before. If so ... oh well ... I'm having fun building it. I'm still building it (Chat GPT project) and wondering if anyone out there would be interested in something like this? Your collection may not be the same as mine as mine is a commercial, preloaded, somewhat outdated collection, but it is pretty cool. My database is a single HTML file (currently 1.3 MB ... in the end will probably be more like 1.5 MB) Here is what I have built into it: - Filters for: Searching any table, Manufacturer of Table, Category (Action, Sci-Fi, Horror, etc..), Themes (similar to Category), Platform (VPX, VP9, Future Tables, FX2, FX3), Decade (Decade that physical table was produced), Sort A-Z / Z-A - Favorites button - Remove Favorites button - Tonight's Random Challenge- picks 5 Random tables - Random Table - picks single random table - Timeline - click on a "year" button (1947-2020) and it will show you all tables that were produced in that year - Clear Filters button Below the Filters section, according on your filter, each table is displayed in its own tile. Each tile contains: - Name of table - Manufacturer - Year table was produced - Platform - Objectives button - does an AI web Search for the objectives of the table (opens in new window) - How to play - opens YouTube instructional video (opens in new window) of rules and objectives for the table (this is what I am currently still working on. So far, 734 tables out of 1318 with instructional video links ... in the end, not all tables will have an instructional video) Purpose behind this is there are so many tables that I was not familiar with, and I did not just want to go around banging a ball without purpose. Videos are cool because you get some history about the table along with the objectives, scoring, and rules. It's really changed the way I look at and approach these tables. * I have attached the database HTML file at its current state of 734 tables with "how to" videos ... I will continue on util I can't find any more instructional videos. Pinball Vault.html
