How do I get the Gottlieb Black Hole table working?

How do I get the Gottlieb Black Hole table working? I have several .zip files in my ROMs folder, including version 2 (blkhole2.zip); I later downloaded and added blkhole7.zip, but I'm getting an error... Cheers, community.

Make sure you have the parent rom blckhole.zip in the roms folder as well. Since we use split rom sets we always need the parent rom as well as any revisions we want to use, such as the 7 digit blckhole7.zip

You should always use setup.exe (or setup64.exe) in your vpinmame folder to check the validity of the roms as well. Many older rom dumps may be missing files or have bad dumps.

Thanks Cliffy for the reply and the help; I didn't know about running a test on the ROMs in the folder using VPinMAME. Now, thanks to you, I've learned something new... when running the test, the Rev. 2 ROM for Black Hole doesn't pass—here's a screenshot of the result. The problem 😑 is that I've downloaded that file ***blckhole2*** several times from different sites, and they all have that same error.

Thats the main CPU rom. Now if you check the blckhole parent rom you will see that same cpu rom is good. Thats why we need the parent rom as well as any child roms. Pinmame will use both

Hi, I still can't get the Blackhole table working; I tried several ROMs, but they fail. Would you be so kind as to share the correct ROMs if you have them? Thanks.
